I have never had anything from this bakery that I didn't love. That being said. Their bagels are AMAZING! I am ashamed of the store bought bagels I called bagels. They are chewy and flavorful. So amazing. Might I suggest a pretzel version? I could see this making amazing soft pretzel. The rye bread is unmatched. Their cookies and also delicious and always so cutely decorated and just as scrumptious. The brownies are fudgey and frost which I never knew I needed until now. Their cake is delectable and the frosting is so creamy and indulgent. Needless to say, this is my favorite bakery and everything is sinfully amazing.

I highly recommend trying their bakery offerings for breakfast! The food is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. The atmosphere, even for takeout, is inviting and pleasant. Overall, a fantastic experience!
Hands down the best bakery within 10 miles of Lombard! The Boston cream donuts and the apple fritters are my families favorites, but everything in there is delicious! The staff is also very friendly. We have gotten donuts here several times while in the area visiting and have not had a bad experience yet. The donuts are delicious and the other bakery items I have tried were also very good. The staff was courteous and helpful as well.

Lilac Bakery is an excellent bakery. The donuts we purchased were absolutely delicious.
