Maybe I dine out a lot more than most but I found my evening dining experience at Limani Seafood Restaurant to be very ho hum. Maybe a lunch visit would have the added sparkle of the water views but at night the focus is on the food and it is very satisfactory but no more. The wine list is also very pedestrian and perhaps reflects a customer base with lower expectations than mine.Overall it was perfectly okay for my business group but I would not bother coming back for personal dining.
Came here for lunch after walking from Freshwater. We ordered the lunch special which included a choice of main and dessert. We had the barramundi and the ravioli. The fish was well portioned and cooked well. The pasta dish was average. For dessert, we had the baklava and the citrus tart. Both were a little disappointing especially the baklava. It lacked the chewy crunchiness of a good baklava and the nuts tasted a little stale.
We requested a window seat and were seated on a lovely private table for 4 overlooking the Lagoon.We all had seafood for both entrée and main course and the food was brilliant. The panna cotta and brulee were excellent indulgent desserts too, albeit a tad pricey. Service was attentive and the waiter knowledgeable and helpful.We have dined there a few times and the food has always of a high and consistent standard.
Hubby, bub and myself dined here today. Service, especially by the gentleman who greeted us upon entry was phenomenal. Food was absolutely faultless. We had the seafood platter and son had the kids calamari. All fish was cooked PERFECTLY. Kids calamari was easy to cut through and we were really impressed. Great wine menu, great beer selection. Seafood platter was great, couldn't recommend highly enough Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant has wonderful views of Narrabeen Lakes, nice big windows and spacious inside. Staff are welcoming. Food is lovely if your a small eater I would share a portion as they are very big. It welcomes children & little ones nice. We had lunch here on a beautiful winters day magic looking at the lake & people, ducks & geese enjoying themselves.
They've changed the calamari garnish to shredded cabbage, it was a good meal but cabbage is such a cheap and ordinary accompaniment to a dish.. the mains were OK but the dinner for two people with one bottle of wine to share at $250 we didn't think it was worth that price tag... we won't be going back
We were a group of 12 which can be a challenge at the best of times.The staff were nothing but friendly and accommodating with requests,attentive yet not too intrusive.The food was delicious as usual and the situation of the restaurant is just lovely,overlooking the lake.Thank you.
During winter it's best to have lunch here rather than dinner so that you can enjoy the beautiful tranquility of the Narrabeen Lakes view. The food is good and the service is attentive and friendly. We had the seafood platter which was pricey but generous and seafood fresh. Réservez une table maintenant
The service was outstanding from the time we arrived until the time we left. The food was delicious. Everyone in our party was impressed their meal and no-one left hungry.
