Needed a shot of coffee - ended up having lunch / tasting different syrups (travelling partner likes green Menthe, but not Peach (peach) ) / and having a few franglais conversations with the Manager (wife of?)Two lunch menus, coffee, tea (pot) and syrups (3) came to less than 20E.You know its value for money when a) the locals eat here, b) the local workmen (postman) calls in c) there is an immediate ambiance from the place with the 'old men' from the bar drinking their glass of roseEat at your leisure, enjoy and take time to savour decent 'pub' grub
Nico et Sandrine accueillent chaleureusement tout le monde lorsqu'ils entrent dans ce bar/restaurant. Ils sont des hôtes formidables ! Ils proposent une variété de boissons, les cosmos de Sandrine sont très appréciés. Les plats du jour sont toujours savoureux et d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.
Je travaille dans la région depuis deux ans et je visite fréquemment L'Imprevu. Bonne bière blonde et Nico Sandrine sont très accueillants et sympathiques. Je le recommanderais à tout le monde. De retour au Royaume-Uni, ils vont me manquer !
I have worked in the area for the last two years and frequently visited L'Imprevu. Good lager and Nico & Sandrine are so welcoming and friendly. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. Back in the UK so I shall miss them!

Nico and Sandrine welcome everyone warmly as they enter this bar/restaurant. They're great hosts! They serve up a variety of drinks - Sandrine's cosmos are a hit. The plats du jour are always tasty and a good value.
Que vous vouliez simplement prendre un café, une bière ou déjeuner, L'Imprevu est un endroit charmant où aller. Les propriétaires sont extrêmement sympathiques et l'atmosphère est amusante et joyeuse.
Nico et Sabine sont si accueillants, la nourriture est toujours excellente et les habitants sympathiques ajoutent à l'atmosphère détendue. À ne pas manquer lorsqu'on est à Ambrières-Les-Vallées !
