Behind the bear side, Mike is a real pizza pro. His recipes (especially vegetarian ones and the love he puts into his cooking and his products speak when you taste them. It is an essential address in Saint Agrève for those who want to eat a very good pizza. Not always talkative, often grumpy and curt, the chef is not a great businessman, you have to go beyond appearances and prejudices (his opinion on COVID, on politics... , come home with a smile and he will have lots of things to tell you. Obviously it 's easier for regulars. Also a bit of 'local ' reading on the table for those who want to wait for their pizza in peace!
Be careful not to take cards, checks or cash, a bit of a shame, apart from that I paid €13 for a drink not much choice: Schweppes, orangina, coke, beer and rosé and a cream-based ham and mushroom pizza, an extra thin dough and cooked properly, not grilled , I would have liked a few extra pieces of ham. Les pizzas sont excellentes ! En revanche, le responsable est des plus désagréables, tant au téléphone que lorsque nous venons chercher les pizzas ; il regarde son film et ne prête aucune attention aux clients... Nous avons testé Royal Pizza pour la première fois et franchement, c'était très bon pour un prix plus que raisonnable ! La pâte est extra fine et la pizza est grande. Il ne manquait qu'un sourire et un semblant de sympathie, on avait un peu l'impression de déranger (pour le dire gentiment !!) Nous reviendrons tout de même.
