I have used the cafe before and been generally satisfied with the coffee and food. On the first occasion I visited this week the coffee was cold. It was reheated to scalding point (microwave without apparent fuss. Today I ordered an English breakfast. After a...while, no beans I’m afraid because the microwave was not working, but we could have them cold if we wished. The sausage was stone cold. It was not cold from being heated but had obviously been precooked and not heated properly if at all. My wife’s was the same. The part she had in her mouth was placed in a tissue on the plate. My wife and l have been coming to this restaurant for years of which we found that the service and food were very good, especially the coffee however a few days ago on this occasion our coffee was just warm and requested or it to...be warmed up, but most disappointingly we ordered a Cumberland sausage ciabatta well you know the size of a ciabatta ,to our astonishment it only contained sausage!!!!! where as before it always contained one and a half made up of three half , so you can imagine sausage cut in half and in bits and pieces Spread Out to fill the gaps, so if you want a bread ciabatta with a hint of sausage go to The Links Gallery, very dissatisfied.
a very lively and excellent place to choose their breakfast / brunch on each day they choose in white bay, with all wonderful art around them. I went with my disabled mother and she was well looked after, the beautiful coworkers went the extra... only to put a smile on her face and help her in her selection of excellent foods. the food was great, the desserts and cake mouth were water. natalie, the manager has reviewed me and mama and made sure we had a heavenly experience. mum and I were very impressed and we appreciate the friendliness and warmth of natalie and her nice staff. jw from london
Lovely place to have a proper Italian coffee (by far the best in town), right by the sea. We walked along the beach before taking a seat at the cafe, outside in the summer sun. The red velvet I had was undoubtedly the best I...have ever tasted and the caffé crema was perfect for a warm day. The staff were incredibly kind and jolly, catering perfectly for my grandpa’s very particular needs! This is a lovely little cafe on the Links at Whitley Bay. My friend and I visited for a quick coffee while out for a walk and we ended up staying for two. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly. There was plenty of...space between the tables so we didn’t feel cramped. There was a hand sanitising station before you went in and masks had to be worn while ordering. The coffee and scones were really delicious and we will definitely be back
love meeting up with friends here..my no. happy place..great ambience and fab attentive staff who are so welcoming..it's like being part of a family. Brought a friend here last week her visit. We sat outside in the sunshine and she said...it's like being on holiday! In the winter I love sitting inside listening to the Italian background music gorgeous . And the selection of food and speciality ... spettacolare
We arrived nice and early for morning coffee's it was our first visit to this lovely little gem. Very helpful friendly staff and some beautiful pieces of artwork. We left with a reminder of our trip to Whitley Bay for our wall at home. Hope...to return again soon!
we have dipped on a busy Sunday for cake and coffee and we were not disappointed, it was very busy, but the staff was very friendly and happy, we ordered a red velvet and a honey mocha, was amazing, coffee was nice thanks. I'll be back soon.

I love all walks on the coast, north shields to blyth, but I always make a bee line for this caffe because I am addicted to the stunning coffee and gorgeous cake. it is also dog-friendly.
