bad experience. we had two bad experiences at this place today (March 27, 2022) this server was very bad on the picture and screamed twice with us. I was with my family, my wife and my two children. my small child spilled some water on the table, we asked this person (I don't know he is a man or woman) for a serviette and he never thought to give it. He went by two times and later when I asked him why you were so rude, he called us and said you didn't see me working. when I then made this picture for prove that he called again, and said he will call the police if I would not delete the picture, I said please do that he then took his camera and made the picture of us a retribution wise. generous buffet with a lot of food. sushi, lots of Chinese dishes, fruit, vegetables, salatable, desserts, hibachi on the grill, suppen the works and then some get them on a Chinese buffet. that is one of the top 3 I was at them, they have made a fabulous job and the dinge kept our drinks full and always on us to check. great customer service. we can't wait to go back and eat here again. if they are in the opposite and love Chinese especially buffets, this is a must stop. hidden gem has demolished the main move. they also had a beautiful jewellery they sold in register. a person with us bought a bracelet. look at this!
After eating with my wife and two daughters one was given a scare with an additional tipp on the reception. Ask other tables there was the other line on reception with “Tip” on there. they all said that it did not check have pointed line added. then I went to the bank. caschiere informed me that the “Tip” line was added to costumers that “see” as they did not tip, or “if they had eaten too much” at a buffet. I then paid, left a tipp at the table, like my family, as in all restaurants. I called morton police and filed a report. this is a possibility, the most rude thing they can do with a costumer.
It is good mainly because it is the only buffet around this area. The one in peoria closed. The place is the normal Chinese buffet place with all of the normal food. No macaroni and cheese for some reason, which seemed very weird, when have you not seen Mac and cheese at a buffet. Lots of chicken and crab. Drink does not come with the meal. Lunch is 11 bucks and dinner is 15 a person.

My husband, kids and I loved coming here. The restaurant was clean, staff was very friendly, and the food was SO much better than other Chinese buffets we've been too. We went on an extremely busy evening, and even so, the server kept up with our table and the food was all promptly replaced once it was nearing empty.
Lin's Buffet was so good with all the different foods I love on a Sunday. me and my family were very happy to pay the extra raise in price just to even get to experience it again. It was so good that I want to go check out the lunch deals so I can eat there more often. we are happy to see your back.
how Chinese buffets go to eat is decent, but the inconsistency and indifference is amazing! there is no welcome greeting no thank you, no nice ones! it's really funny how the front personnel get out of the way to be rude! Nice that this rudeness does not rub on the kitchen staff after the buffet!
When arriving were not greeted even though staff members were at the front counter. The only words said by the hostess were follow me. The food had been setting for awhile. After being seated the waitresses brought our water and never checked on us again.

This place is the worst. They are rude and not as clean as they should be. Forget going here! I don't know why this place has such a high rating.
Very compact buffet, food not very fresh but it was alright besides that.
