I have been to this restaurant twice in the last month, despite living in Leicester! I absolutely adore this place, I can't find any faults. The food is amazing, the service is great, and they are so accommodating for children with a small indoor play area and an excellent kids menu. The staff are lovely and friendly. It was so nice that they were able to cater to different food allergies and dietary requirements. Yesterday, the cherry on top was their wonderful breastfeeding policy - I received a complimentary herbal tea as they saw I was breastfeeding my daughter. Thank you so much!!
I absolutely adore this place! There's always a delightful atmosphere whenever I bring friends to Banbury. The menu is diverse enough to satisfy various tastes, including those with a sweet tooth. The coffee is, without a doubt, some of the best I've ever had in England, and their gelato—especially the gelato shakes—is nothing short of amazing. The standout feature, however, is their consistently outstanding customer service. I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience here or felt out of place. I can't recommend this place highly enough!
Being a Dutch person living in the UK, I occasionally crave Dutch cuisine. When I heard about Little Amsterdam, I knew I had to check it out. Last Saturday, my family and I paid a visit to Little Amsterdam and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and we had a cozy chat in Dutch with the owner, Ilja. It felt like we were back at home without having to travel for hours. I highly recommend trying out the Dutch food at this charming restaurant.
I surprise all my friends by introducing them to this lovely family run restaurant. It has everything: a cosy, beautiful, warm ambience; friendly staff; great owner who chats to her customers like she's known you already; you never feel like you're being rushed out the door, kind attention to your dietary requirements and that touch of being in Amsterdam. A must visit if you visit our lovely historic town.

I recently returned to Little Amsterdam and was again reminded of what an outstanding restaurant it is, thanks to its dedicated owner! The food was exquisite, and our waitress was eager to share details about the menu. Each dish was beautifully presented, filled with enticing aromas and toppings. It's truly worth a visit—despite having already had a full meal elsewhere, we couldn't resist dropping in!
Little Amsterdam is amazing! This family-run restaurant is simply fantastic. They cater to all dietary needs. My wife, who is gluten-free and vegan, absolutely loves the fresh dishes they prepare. The customer experience is top-notch. You are welcomed into a warm atmosphere while enjoying high-quality food in a beautiful setting. I would recommend it to everyone!
I went today after enquiring about the vegan options. Well if you like pancakes you are in luck.....I had a great meal and an even better dessert. And all Vegan!! Oh and before I forget, super helpful staff too.
amazing hearty pancakes with very generous, fresh strokes. can not recommend this place enough, the decor is so cozy and welcoming and the personal is really friendly. a beautiful, inviting place to eat.
