this place is small and picturesque. quite a woman show. she's amazing! eating is soouo tasty. we had panang curry with tofu, yellow curry with tofu and sweet, fried rice, spring rolls and charcoal kosnusseis. she cares about her eating and wants to make customers love it. she needs time to talk to customers. she told us all kinds of wonderful information about the dishes she made for us. she is very knowledgeable about vegan eating and makes a good work cooking it. they should make a reservation when they eat. at the weekend the small dining room is full and they receive many delivery orders. fortunately we have waited an hour for our food in a very busy night, but in a Tuesday night takes...

This restaurant inside York Central Market serves home-cooked and authentic Thai food from a pre-prepared buffet. I would give them a 5-star rating, but they do serve meat, so I reserve that last star for fully vegan/vegetarian spots. Fortunately, they offer a variety of vegan options that go beyond just token items. The menu changes regularly, but I have enjoyed their vegan pad thai, vegetables, ginger tofu, a spicy spaghetti dish with veggies, and a "chicken" made from dried bean curd or tofu skin. The owners are friendly and enjoy sharing stories about their recipes and ingredients. They even showed me the vegan fish sauce they use and are happy to discuss any questions about their sauces...

small elephant thai has many vegan options and the staff is very helpful in ordering. they are very nice and will let them know which dishes can be veganized. the Papaya salad was the best I ever had, and the fried tofu was delish. our entrees were great and came with many sweet and tofu. they even have vegan desserts like cocooseis and custard. adorables interieur with many normal sitting options, but they also have some fun sitting options where they can sit on old sofas or chairs. we wanted us to have lived more closely because we love this place! updated by the previous review on 2020-11-13
