Little Mermaid Seafood

I have found some of the food here is terrible , I had bought a few Prawn cutlets and when my son and I bit into them they were off , Smelt horrible and they had a creamy smelly look to them . I kept them in the fridge to take back to the shop and the next morning I rang them to tell them I have the prawns to return to them as I wanted my money back and the lady said "ohh no that's okay just throw them in the bin " and I will give you your money back. It was like she was used to hearing complaints about them. I also bought a Bacon and egg burger there on another day and it was dry and the bacon was burnt to a crisp again I asked for my money back and the lady said she will make me another an...

We have been coming to Little Mermaid and one down in Capalaba over the last 4 years. During our recent times getting our Chips and other items from Little Mermaid our chips have been of gradually poorer quality. I suspect the oil has not been fresh or temperature not right. We gave it one last chance now in October, but will most likely choose another place a little further afield from now on. There is nothing wrong with the service, or even price. Here it is only the quality of the food that has dropped quite a lot.

Good value and good food is available at Little Mermaid.No, they don't actually cook and serve mermaids, but their other seafood is fresh and tasty, burgers are good (with proper home made beef patties) and the meal deals are good value. Value on the chips too with good amounts served the old fashioned way wrapped in paper.Give this one a try, it's well worth it.

please save her money and go somewhere else. Eating is extremely cute, and if they dare to complain to the owners man will rub them, then if they are happy, he will contact them via facebook to sue them for checking his soggy chips over boiled chicken. burger und schlampige hamburger! It had been a while since I had fish and chips, so I opted for the burger with all the toppings instead. The chips were crispy and not greasy, and the pineapple ring on the burger was perfect. Well done, Young's - a perfect 10 out of 10!

Absolutely enjoyed the meal, we sat outside the shop and ate it on the seating provided. Fish and chips were great but I couldn't help myself and bought a burger also, yum

What's better than Hot Chip buddies on a rainy day, I ask you! I've had fish and chips many times from the Little Mermaid. Friendly service. Good food.

$6.50 for this over cooked, tiny piece of fish. Really dissapointed for a place that use to be so good. Disgusting
