This was my first time at this little gem of a restaurant. First things first it’s a CASH ONLY restaurant. That being said it’s a good value for your money paired with good food equals a winning combination! I was there with my daughter and several co-workers. Everyone but me ordered “breakfast with a smile” which was a teriyaki steak, 2 eggs, toast and hash browns! This was so flavorful and the steak was tender IMO. I ordered “chicken fried steak” which was the chicken fried steak. 2 eggs, toast and hash browns. It was very good and tasty! This restaurant is a hidden gem! It's definitely worth a 20-minute drive for their delicious diner food. You can get a plate of three eggs, hash browns, and toast for just $6. They offer a generous serving of biscuits and gravy for $7, and for an additional $4, you can enjoy two eggs with more hash browns. The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I'm so glad we decided to stop by! We had a lovely large family breakfast here. (Check the menu for the actual prices—I was amazed at how affordable they are!)

I had breakfast here and I'm giving it five stars for the friendly staff, affordable prices, and quick, accurate service. My husband's chicken steak was excellent! My Denver omelet was quite good too, though I think they should swap the melted American cheese for real cheddar. However, the prices are refreshingly old-school, especially during the pandemic; our total was just $24.75. At a fancier restaurant, we would easily have spent $50!

The food is excellent and reasonably priced, accompanied by friendly service. However, they currently don't accept credit cards, although we were informed that they plan to do so in the future.
