Aug. 2021 Dec. 2019 We live in Maine, but when we pop in for a visit with family. . . Little Red Barn Jefferson, MD) is a cute little ice cream place that offers more on its menu with sandwiches, soups, chips, etc. We called in our lunch order ?for pick up?. The sandwiches were fresh Turkey, ham, with garden fresh tomatoes, and lettuce, on our choice of 7 grain bread, or wheat toast, or ciabatta bread! They pack a wonderful lunch with pickles chips! Great little ice cream shop, they seem to have a decent selection of food options as well. I was there for the ice cream : I really enjoyed the fact that you could order a kids small size, it was the perfect amount of ice cream. Pricing is pretty good. My only complaint is that the parking is a little strange and right. They do have an overflow lot as well. Overall check it out. Service: Dine in
We stopped by on a whim on the way home from Harper’s Ferry, and are we glad we stopped by! The sizes are HUGE (even for a Small), the ice cream is AMAZING, and the prices cannot be beat! We would take the drive out here again just for getting the size we got for the price we paid for a large family! Highly recommend stopping on your way home or to Harper's Ferry!!
Sandwiches, ice cream and atmosphere are perfect. Chili should be better, had some brisket or slow roasted beef. A wonderful local attraction offered locally made hand scooped ice creams using cream from local dairies. Good variety of flavors. Also offers soft serve and traditional hard scooped Hershey brand ice creams They also have a small country store and home made sandwiches.
This is a fantastic little spot to enjoy a drink, sandwich, or snack. The prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly, and the food is excellent! There are tables both inside and outside. Besides sandwiches and ice cream, they also offer coffee.
