I must admit that I am a bit late in writing this review, as I have been coming here weekly. I usually get takeout, and the food is so delicious that I forget to take pictures. Amazing Vietnamese gem in Philadelphia Main Line area. Very special and unique family run atmosphere with excellent, authentic home cooked Vietnamese fare. Cannot be missed. All dishes are fresh and delicious every single dish they serve is cooked to order. My Family and I have loved this fantastic restaurant for more than 30 yrs! Wonderful food at a great price. The quality of ingredients and the skill in the kitchen is amazing for the price point. I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I ordered takeout and got shrimp fried rice and vegetable egg rolls. The service was great, the staff were polite and nice. However, the food did not meet my expectations. The fried rice was very greasy, with tiny pieces of shrimp mixed in and lacking any flavor. There were barely any vegetables in the rice. The egg roll was just okay. I have had better Vietnamese food elsewhere. I had higher expectations for this place, but it was not worth the $20 I spent. I don't plan on returning. The spring rolls at this restaurant are the best we have ever had. We ordered 4 dishes, including the Saigon Special which came with three types of skewers, salad, a spring roll, and noodles. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere inside feels like a family-owned restaurant with excellent, friendly service. The soups we ordered were different than expected but still satisfying. I highly recommend this family-owned restaurant for a delicious meal. The staff is very friendly and the dishes are made with fresh ingredients. I will definitely be returning. Stopped by this place on a whim with my husband and we will definitely be back! I had the summer rolls, ginger salad, vermicelli, and iced coffee and they were all delicious! As a Viet person myself, this is the best Viet food I’ve had so far since coming to the Philly area and the owner is so kind and personable too! I can’t recommend it enough!!
