Little Szechuan unexpectedly closed its doors around the New Year, which came as quite a shock since it has been a staple in the community for so long. Apparently, the owner wanted to step back after running the restaurant for decades while also raising their children. Fortunately, someone purchased the place within a week of its closure, and it continues to be the beloved little Szechuan we all know—now with "GoGo" added to the name. This is the best Chinese restaurant in the area, unmatched by any other. The service is outstanding, and they have truly mastered their craft. My family recently moved from New York, and we hadn't eaten Chinese food in years because every place we tried was disappointing and overly saucy. We stumbled upon this restaurant and were thrilled to finally find a spot that meets the quality we were accustomed to. The herbed soup is fantastic, and the dishes with garlic sauce are excellent as well. However, their roasted rice isn’t the best compared to other Chinese places. Save yourself the trouble and don’t waste time trying other spots in the area.
I have to tell you that this is the BEST Chinese food I’ve ever eaten in my life. My god everything inside this place is amazing!! People who work there are extremely friendly and attentive! The food came out amazing! It’s not like a takeout where everything is spongy! The Sesame Chicken inside this place is heavenly. It’s very Crispy, which never happens inside any Chinese place I go inside and the sauce is not too sweet, and that’s how it should be. This is my new spot for Chinese and I hope to make more trips down there. It’s actually located in the beautiful town so if you want food after walking, this is your spot!
I’m giving the restaurant four stars because the new owners are truly dedicated to regaining the customer base that this place has always had. The food was hot, tasty, and plentiful, and the staff was very friendly. I hope the community will come back to the recently reopened dining room and support this local gem. One suggestion I have is to create a separate, more extensive menu for dining in, rather than using the takeout menu as both the placemat and menu.

The glowing reviews you see online are for the former owners, so don't be misled. I really miss the original Little Szechuan owners. The new management refuses to make the usual house special soup with Lo Mein noodles, like the previous owners did. They outright wouldn't do it, even when I offered to pay extra. Instead, they suggested I order the chicken noodle soup, which comes with noodles, or a fried Lo Mein dish. It's just absurd!
The food at Little Szechuan Gogo was excellent. However, the lunch menu displayed dinner-sized portions, so we didn’t realize there were smaller lunch options on the back until after ordering. Also, the bill is presented in Chinese, which might make splitting it a bit challenging.

Little Szechuan Gogo has really gone downhill. The portions are tiny, and the food is barely edible. Their General Tao's Chicken tasted like old oil with tough, chewy chicken. Very disappointing, especially considering the menu used to be much better.
