I have been on a bit of a Bahn Mi mission lately around Adelaide, sussing out new and old haunts to see how they compare. There is a lot of competition out there for the humble roll and you really want to get it right to have return trade. Unfortunately, Lemongrass failed me this time. We both ordered BBQ Lemongrass Beef combo, mine with roast pork, foodie mate with BBQ Pork. Well, I must say, the BBQ Beef and BBQ Pork bring a whole new meaning to Mystery Meat! OMG! If this was in the CBD it'd probably get a 3.5 (hard to beat Tahn Tahn, Adelaide Pho and Renaissance Arcade) but being the closest pho to where I work for quite some time gets it up to a 4/5. The pho is warm, fresh and tasty and at a great price. The last few times I've gone in at lunch time, they've been closed which is annoying.
