Honestly, the atmosphere is amazing — the performers and DJ are a solid 10/10. The energy and vibe really make the place stand out. That said, the music is extremely loud, to the point where it’s difficult to place an order. Food-wise, the starters, sashimi, and sushi were quite good. However, the main dishes left much to be desired — we tried the lamb chops and cod, and both were just average. Definitely had better elsewhere. The biggest letdown was the service. It was very slow. Drinks took up to 30 minutes to arrive, and when I raised the issue with one of the managers, she mentioned it was busy — though that wasn’t the case. We really enjoyed Sumosan Twiga. I came with my husband and teenage son and was anticipating that he would not receive a warm welcome due to his age. He felt completely comfortable and enjoyed his pasta arrabiata. All of our other dishes came from the Japanese side of the menu and were really very good especially the maki and sashimi. I also like that the staff swooped in and checked some young women who were taking obtrusive and not so tasteful photos near our table. I appreciated the nod to decorum in a space that clearly prides itself on maintaining a polished image. Props to the DJ. I haven’t heard Terence Trent D’Arby in ages. Looking forward to going back.
Worst dinner experience, my table changed to be service table for 4 tables. And a-lot of people come inside and they are not have a chair. Food was good but it’s very bad experience to have. Place not convenient. Imagine the orders coming up your head lol. I told the manager and he just sayied a fast sorry

Went to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was amazing. Love dancers and the food was delicious. The only downside I would say is the parking and that there is no air con as it was a very hot evening and could have been more enjoyable if it was easier to breath inside Hence why overall 4*.
Ameerah nights are the best event I experienced so far in London. Went last Thursday for my birthday and had an amazing experience. Great customer service and impressive shows. The atmosphere there exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Thursdays at Sumosan
the people working here forget that they serve the class of people they wish they were.. get off your high horses. i’ve been all around the world and this has got to be some of the worst service with the most mediocre food i’ve ever had.
i went on a thursday night which was an ameerah night and it was one on the best nights ever, the food quality was amazing and the music and vibe was just perfect. Now one of my favorite restaurants so far

Great atmosphere with live music. The waiter came straight to us and ushered us in a section as soon as we got in.
Atmosphere was amazing! Came on a Thursday and had singers and performers for the Ameerah night!
