Locale Aurora Restaurant Bar

Always have loved Locale in Aurora but this time, it was different. Ordered the Ossobuco. It wasn't braised enough and although somewhat tender, wasn't the rich tender meat you should get with this dish. What really bothered me was that my wife asked for the Branzino but, as she doesn't like rice, asked simply if she could substitute the polenta that comes with the Ossobuco for the rice. Our server, who was great, asked the kitchen and was told “no”. Ridiculous for a restaurant such as this, that the best interests of the customer didn't enter the equation. I visited this restaurant tonight with a few friends after work for a quick dinner. It was our first visit, and it certainly won't be our last. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Our waiter, Ashkon, was exceptional. He had a great knowledge of the menu, was very attentive, and answered all our questions. His detailed explanation of the specials made us eager to try them. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The food was served in a timely manner and was fresh and delicious. Thank you for a wonderful evening; we will definitely return!

Good food but not great. We waited 30mins for our food. Many people that sat before us got their food and we had to ask twice about our food. We ordered 3 things in total and they brought out one dish. Then 30mins later the 2nd dishes. The menu is very limited. The eggs Benedict is good but the bread was dry and the food was cold. The home fries were good but kinda dry. We asked for extra sauce and we were charged. Also we asked for a glass of sparkling water and she brought the whole bottle would have been nice for her to tell us we'll be charged for the whole bottle.

Good meal and service, but our night out was cut short after 2 hours when the server said we had to leave because a party of 10 had arrived and they needed our table to push against a nearby one. We were with friends we rarely see, and had cocktails, appetizers, mains and was just eating dessert when this happened. You'd think $400 plus would let us wrap up the meal, but nope. A very busy and popular restaurant bar in Aurora and it seems well deserved as we found the food quality, presentation and timing to be spot on.Great service and attention to detail, staff has excellent wine and menu knowledge. This location has a refined decor compared to the King one and easier parking.

Sunday brunch at Locale was amazing. Everyone really enjoyed their food and was satisfied with their order. Our waiter, Eric, was super friendly and accommodating and made our brunch experience even more enjoyable. It's the perfect place for dining in, with excellent food and service!

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was incredibly delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. The interior was very cozy, and they offered an excellent selection of wines.

Everything about my experience during brunch yesterday was amazing. Service was on point other than the initial greet which took a bit longer than normal but that's okay! The food more than made up for it for sure.
