We were staying at the sister hotel ‘Les Vikings’ across the road that is owned by the same family. We pre booked a table in the Bistro for the last day of our holiday. When we arrived at 7.15pm, as arranged, we were the first people inside the bistro with one couple on the veranda. Our order was taken quite quickly fish casserole and grilled cod and we were given a small pot of olives but by 8.15pm we had received NOTHING else, no bread, no explanation so we asked the waiter where our food was. Nous avons eu une très bonne expérience dans l'ensemble avec une table face à la mer. Malheureusement, il semble que le restaurant repose trop sur le paysage et pas assez sur l'atmosphère du restaurant. Pas de musique d'ambiance par exemple. Le service était très professionnel et compétent mais pas assez sympathique ! Même derrière les masques, les invités peuvent sentir si une personne sourit ou non ! La nourriture elle-même était bien préparée et très savoureuse. Le foie gras et la sauce au beurre, le filet de veau et les desserts étaient délicieux ! This is a very fine seafood/shellfish restaurant that happens to be in a hotel. The service is a bit formal, but not stuffy. If TA allowed a more finely grained rating system, I would give them a 4.6 or 4.7. The views out the window and on your plate are quite pleasing. My wife and I ordered foie gras to start, and their rendition was delicious. Our Turbot and Rouget respectively were very fine with elegant sauces on the side and a nice vegetable garnish. Our Nougat Glacee dessert was also excellent. The wine list is fairly extensive and fairly priced. The restaurant is fairly expensive, but you will get your money's worth. The food at the bistro side of the restaurant was delicious. The assorted seafood/shellfish was an adventure in eating, down to the needle pick required for periwinkles. The lotte wrapped in bacon over sautéed cabbage with potatoes three ways was really good. Service was somewhat disjointed, but they seemed to be missing some staff at opening at 7:15 pm. We had to ask for the olives that came to another table as a nibble. Surprised that the staff was not more facile in English, but we managed with our french. que ce soit sur le bistrot ou sur le côté gastronomique exceptionnel pour moi. des recettes traditionnelles que l'on trouve trop rarement comme la semelle très généreuse de méuniar avec l'élévation des filets à la guérilla, turbot à sauce hollandaise digne de ce nom, salade composée de saumon fumé extraordinaire ect ect ect ect ect ect. bistrot n'est pas encore la vaisselle est respectueuse et savoureuse. Nous n'avons pas donné 133,5 € pour deux personnes avec apéritif, sans dessert, mais cela en vaut la peine. L'accueil, la fraîcheur des plats, la qualité de la cuisine, l'ambiance générale, la vue sur la mer, tout est assez parfait. Mention spéciale au jeune serveur qui dit "apporter" et non "amener" pour les plats. Bravo.

The setting of the restaurant is magnificent and the food is excellent. I shared a “Bar en croute de sel”, which was extraordinary. Bread and dessert were of high quality as well. A bit expensive and staff could be a bit more friendly, but otherwise it was a perfect experience ! Réservez une table maintenant
