Wir waren auf der Durchreise und Nähe Autobahn auf der Suche nach einer Gaststätte. Von außen fanden wir es auf den ersten Blick nicht so einladend (Hauptstraße, es sah geschlossen aus/dunkel , aber innen war es wirklich richtig nett. Wir hatten Jägerschnitzel mit Pommes und Spätzle. Beides war wirklich lecker. Wir hatten alles richtig gemacht dort einzukehren. :
It was worth a visit again. On September 12, 2020, we were at 4. In a great ambience in the beer garden we enjoyed delicious food with a beautiful service. Even the cook came from us and harvested fresh herbs from the beet... just great! We always like to come to the golden lions. Best regards from Wolfschlugen. Silke Hofer
Class food at reasonable prices, with the huge selection of traditional dishes, the ambience is equipped with a time machine with many details. The experience was complete with the eager staff. Absolutely recommended.

The dishes are the first cream. We've been there several times. My favourite: Saure Nierle with roast potatoes.
