The Gault Millau part of the restaurant is reached by passing through the main entry and area. It leads into a rectangular dining area comprising six to seven tables. The décor and styling is quite bland with limited character and personality and with the most awful acoustics where the voices of each guest is amplified by the low ceilings and absence of any furnishings/plants to take away or diminish the sound. As first impressions go, the lack of personality of the restaurant combined with the noise amplification comes as quite a shock and a disappointment. However, the team dressed in warm and traditional clothing, were warm, friendly, cheerful and professional. Sadly, for non-German speak...
We visited this Restaurant for the first time to celebrate out marriage anniversary. Service staff was outstandig, Food order a la carte was good and nicely presented. Overall we spent a very nice evening in a nice atmosphere. A small downturn was that certain customers are treated differently. Although Gourmet dinner is not served on the terrace; one very Special Group was treated this way. This is a bit awkward; but I guess this is the professional handling of VIP customers.
Ein exzellentes Restaurant auf höchstem Niveau! Von der Begrüssung über die Speise/Wein Empfehlung natürlich das Essen WOW bis zur Verabschiedung durch die Gastgeberpaar persönlich TOP. Wir sind mehrmals im Jahr dort Gast und werden das auf jeden fall auch bleiben, können es kaum erwarten bis die Gastronomie endlich wieder öffnen kann und wir wieder im Löwen einkehren können.
