As always, delighted by the exceptional setting, even out of season, of Lake Vassivière. The view from the balcony is always magnificent, even in the rain : Small personal drawback, for safety reasons, I did not leave my small camping stove in the wall cupboard... which I forgot to take back leaving. Very disappointed, the 3 stars are not deserved, the establishment is really not up to par. Fortunately the restaurant is just super good and the staff welcoming. For the rest, crumbling ceiling, not-so-great carpet, 60s tapestry, cat hairs everywhere, cobwebs ... Breakfast for €12 with a piece of ham and butter... Too bad because 'with a little refreshment and restoration it would be really great Rooms: 2
L'hôtel est situé au bord du Lac de Vassivière, avec un paysage époustouflant. Excellent restaurant, le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Le seul inconvénient était la présence de 4 chats et de deux chiens à la réception par un jour très humide, ce qui dégageait une odeur un peu désagréable. The restaurant has a super pleasant setting and the site by the lake must be magnificent in the summer months. The staff is very friendly and the waiter speaks American well. The dishes were very good but a little expensive (you pay for the setting). The toilets leave a little to be desired and require an upgrade. Service: 5 Location: 5 Réservez une table maintenant

"Nous nous sommes retrouvés la un peu par hasard, mais c'était l'un des seuls resto ouvert un dimanche soir en avant saison et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Accueil british très chaleureux, cuisine correcte pour le prix, vu superbe sur le lac."
