C'était la deuxième fois que nous nous sommes arrêtés au "Le Prieuré" sur notre chemin vers la petite ville de La Celle Dunoise dans le département de la Creuse. Nous sommes arrivés à 18h30, nous nous sommes assis dans le jardin et avons pris un apéritif avant le dîner à 19h00. Le restaurant propose quelques plats régionaux. Notre choix était un filet de sandre qui a été cuisiné avec grand soin. Le service est détendu mais attentif et malgré l'effondrement soudain de la livre après le Brexit, l'addition était toujours plus que raisonnable. Dans l'ensemble, un excellent arrêt, près de l'autoroute de Limoges, mais toujours hors des sentiers battus.
We were there with family of 2 children any had 2 menus degustation and 2 menus enfants. The adult menus were ok, but nothing to go out of your way for. The children's menu were just not good with a totally dry and unflavoury piece of chicken. The restaurant was lastly decorated in the 70s so don't expect anything fancy. Service was good & there are plenty of parking places outside.
Nous avons dégusté nos meilleurs plats ici lors de notre tour à vélo de deux semaines à travers la France. La cuisine française à son apogée. Nous avons opté pour un menu fixe avec le choix entre poisson ou poulet en plat principal. Les portions étaient généreuses et tout était très bien présenté. Le vin de la maison était excellent et très bon rapport qualité-prix.
Un endroit parfait pour une nuit en route vers Toulouse. Ils ont apporté de belles améliorations aux terrains depuis notre séjour l'été dernier. Personnel sympathique, chambres confortables et bon petit-déjeuner. Nous avons passé une soirée relaxante et délicieuse sur la terrasse, très appréciée après une longue journée en voiture.
