Lola's Cafe Gourmet Take Out

I'll go to lunch when I'm visiting poughkeepsie. I always get the grilled cheese and it's heavenly! the place has a casual mood and is always busy. I went on a Monday at 15 o'clock and the place was still 70% full! But I don't wait long for my food, that came hot and perfect as always. they use fresh ingredients in every dish, and I never had a bad meal here. it is also located next to the walkway over the hudson. they can leave the caffe, turn left and climb the steps that they take directly to the entrance of the walkway. they have to pass, and make sure to place their order in advance when they plan to visit during the peak hours. they can always go and eat them lunch at the hudson river...

if they take a thing from this review, it is peanut noodles. a must order next-court. lolas has been a PK spin for me for years and the quality has never changed. I love the love of the bruschetta panini, the black bohnenburger and the Asian salat. recently tried the Asian rice bowl with tofu and was so pleasantly surprised with great taste. they can go wrong with nothing on the menu and everything tastes super fresh. I wish they had more veg options, especially the rotating suppers! They also have fresh desserts, although I have to pamper in the rule. the life hack in the beautiful weather is to go to her eating and to go near the stairs and enjoy the sunny outside tables on the way!

If you are considering using Lola’s Catering for an event, do not hesitate and do not look elsewhere! Book them now! We used them for our twice postponed wedding and they were so helpful, kind and understanding throughout the entire process. Michaela is a gem- she went above and beyond to make sure that our day was perfect. She made me feel so at ease all day and graciously handled the weather/guest hiccups that were thrown at her. Eddie and his chefs are amazing! The food was incredible and every single one of our guests raved about it! I still get a big smile on my face when I think about our menu! They are the best!

Every main course meal I've eaten here has been nothing short of great and tasty. The cooks know what they're doing. Only reason I give this place 4 stars is because the sides are not very good except their fries and peanut noodles. My favorite thing so far is the Red Fox wrap. I recommend this place to anyone who likes Cafe lunch.
