We went here on a Sat. early evening. There was no wait when we arrived. It was very noisy, mostly due to a screaming baby in the booth next to us. (Parents, if your baby SCREAMS, please be considerate and take him/her outside for a few minutes. . We both had steaks with a Caesar salad and soup. I had the corn seafood chowder. It was a disappointment as the bell peppers overwhelmed the taste and the seafood was skimpy. My partner's French onion soup was good. My filet was good but slightly undercooked. It was pretty slow for a Sunday afternoon, we were the only ones seated in our entire section. But I didn't stop the waitress from taking 20 minutes to bring the menus as though it was super busy. Food was great when it finally arrived, though she didn't bring it all at once and we had to wait for the sides that went with our steaks. Then we waited another 15 minutes for her to bring the bill, and once we gave her the cash another 15 minutes waiting for her to bring us our change.

The food here is consistently good, but the service at the bar leaves something to be desired. It can be challenging to get the staff's attention at times. The beer pours are average, with a head of at least 2 inches, resulting in a loss of about 2-3 ounces from your drink in a tall glass.
