I found the definition of "chopped salad" to differ somewhat from the usual expectation. The salad was not really chopped; it mainly consisted of cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and croutons, so it felt a bit lacking. But since it was just a side salad, I guess they can be a bit stingy on the ingredients. The steaks were well-seasoned, though perhaps a little overdone in terms of seasoning. Two of the three steaks were cooked perfectly; however, the filet was slightly overcooked. That said, if we reheated the leftovers, it would likely be cooked more evenly. I absolutely loved the Western cowboy atmosphere! From the welcoming boots at the entrance to the impressive steer head above the bar, along with the rope decorations and southwestern scenes on the walls, I was truly taken in by the restaurant's ambiance. My wife started with a delicious shrimp and lobster chowder, which was a fantastic appetizer. The rest of us enjoyed our petite filet steaks cooked medium, accompanied by baked potatoes. My steak was incredibly tender and juicy—a real delight! Each bite was so flavorful that I didn't even need steak sauce. I can't wait to visit again!
I went last night with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and he was hesitant at first (due to a bad experience at a different steakhouse) but let me say that we were not disappointed AT ALL. The food was phenomenal the staff were both friendly and helpful. Everyone who worked there were warm and welcoming. They even gave us a comped dessert to celebrate our night. They truly made the whole dinner perfect for us. We will definitely be going back again. If I could I would rate them at 10
My favorite place to go when I have some extra spending money to go on a nice date! Always a good atmosphere, and friendly waitresses. We were still served even though we came in an hour before they closed, which I had expected that we may be turned away for that reason. For a chain steakhouse, Longhorn is actually pretty good. The steaks that I have ordered here have been seasoned well and fairly priced. The service is great and it's not a crazy wait time for your food to come out. This is way better than say an Applebee's or Outback. I'm happy that this spot is not too far from my home!
