Loom Bistro - Réservation de table

My partner and I had made a reservation for Valentine's Day at Loom Bistro, but we were asked to leave our seats because I couldn't provide a QR code. This was incredibly embarrassing and, sadly, beyond our control. It's disappointing that the government continues to overlook the needs of Indigenous people, and that many institutions fail to support us. We didn't get the chance to try the food, but I found the staff to be unhelpful. Based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend supporting this business. Thankfully, my partner and I were able to find another local restaurant where we were seated and treated well.

I checked online and was directed to text for a takeout order. I sent a text but got no reply. It wasn’t a big deal, so we ended up eating somewhere else. While staying at the inn where Loom is located, I thought it would be nice to order a little dessert to support a local business, especially since all the other reviews were great. However, when I called, I was told they couldn't do takeout tonight. Really? I found it hard to believe they couldn't package a couple of slices of pie or cake. That was quite disappointing.

I was at the Loom with my family for a truly memorable dinner. I had the Short ribs and they were absolutely amazing. My wife, being Celiac requires true gluten free. This was accommodated with ease. The young lady serving us was lovely, knowledgeable and took excellent care of us. The environment is absolutely beautiful emanating of quality craftsmanship from yesteryear not to mention this is all on the shores of the beautiful Mississippi river. Highly recommend. Where is the 10 star button? Thank you Loom.

The setting is very scenic (not to mention, historic) and the food is fabulous although portions are on the skimpy side. I ordered the fish tacos and was presented with 2 small tacos I could have easily eaten at least 3. Friendly staff. I would recommend trying this place but eat a little something beforehand. Always such a pleasant experience here, wether it's an in-dining experience or take out, the food is just incredible. It is a small restaurant, but I think that adds to the charm of eating here. Staff have always been great, food has always been delicious and I would 10 out 10 recommend eating here!

The setting of this place is awesome, all tables outside near the water front.Service and food excellent. Highly recommend the Taco night. Nothing Mexican, just the soft round shell, filled with either shredded meat, chicken or shrimp. Amazing!

Another fine dining experience. All the dishes our party ordered were timed perfectly. The layers of flavours were well thought out. Was so happy to get out and enjoy it during this pandemic.

The food was very good and was plated nicely. On top of the great food, the scenery was also beautiful. The food is a bit expensive for the amount that you receive. Réservez une table maintenant

Such an adorable place. It's so intimate and has lovely charm. The food was great. I was a little disappointed by the wine selection, but besides that five stars!

Excellent service and delicious food! We'll definitely be returning. If you're in Almonte, I highly recommend giving this fantastic bistro a try.
