We had an excellent experience at this restaurant. The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. We tried the house salad, which was not your typical house salad and very fresh. The butternut squash ravioli was so flavorful and simply melted in my mouth. We also enjoyed the veal picada, although it was not my favorite way to prepare veal. My partner, on the other hand, absolutely loved it.
This was my 4th or 5th meal at L'Opera, i go at least once a trip to Long Beach since i found it a few years back. Simply, a great meal with great cocktails. A fairly priced and balanced wine list from cost effective to a wine that will make the connoisseur happy. Top it off with great service and the night was made for out group.
The addition of music in the bar area at L'Opera brought a new element to the ambiance. However, the style of music didn't quite match the atmosphere and the noise levels were too high. The music itself was good, but it seems they are still trying to find the perfect mix.
Great food and service. Super expensive and loud as a rock concert. Had to ask to have a serve stop banging silverware while restocking. Somewhat disappointing overall. Four people $520 with tip for lobster ravioli. Réservez une table maintenant

Our waiter was fantastic. He saw to my daughter’s allergy needs and took great care of us. The veal piccata was excellent. Love this place.
