Very nice restaurant located in a side street to the allées Riquet, close to the theatre. The restaurant has a nice terrace on a small pedestrian street. Service is friendly and helpful, promotion of local produce is made when presenting the menu. During the evening the 'bistronomique ' menu is suggested for 38€ for a starter, main and desert. If wished for a few euros more cheese can be added (or replace the desert). The menu is short but contains a diverse selection of starters, mains and deserts. The food was great, and there’s a really good drinks list. Unfortunately it was let down by one waitress, among several brilliant team manners. Sadly she was serving us, first she refused to give us each sauce for fries and a burger, wanting us to share one small dish between three of us, very strange. We asked for one each but no, we were to have one only… Then we had an extra glass of wine listed on our bill, three instead of two, and she claimed firmly to have served us three when we had only two. She stormed off to ask for evidence amongst the rest of the team, when it was cleared that we had two she refused to acknowledge any (even mildest) form of apology…
Great location, atmosphere, service and food. My wife and I really enjoyed it. The set menus are good value for money and are the same meals as the normal menu. I would absolutely come back as there are other things on the menu I would like to try! Probably the best meal we had in beziers.
