Went for a 2nd visit and was so disappointed in the service and actions of the restaurant manager. The restaurant is very pretty and we had a lovely spot in one of the secluded alcoves, very romantic. The menu prices are expensive but we had a coupon that entitled us to $25 discount. One dish was very good, the Salmon. Unfortunately, the other dish, Supreme of Chicken Florentina, had a portion of it that was very undercooked. We wanted something charming and quiet for a special night out and Lorelei's Bistro delivered. My husband asked for one of the booths for 2 when he made the reservation. It is a bit more intimate and gives a very cozy feel to the dining experience. The server was very attentive and the flow of food was just perfect. I ordered the warm kale salad which was delicious. My husband who didn't think he would even like kale also thought it was great. The portion was substantial. My husband had the escargot in puffed pastry with a cream sauce which was also very good. It is now few times we have been to the place.We are always very happy with the food , service and atmosphere.This Bistro has a very beautiful back for outdoor seating, it is very nice and enjoyable.The menu is very nice and great variety.My dish of Smoked Ribs was little disappointing.The BBQ on the ribs was delicious, but the meat on the ribs was very tough.The portion was very nice size served with cal slow and nice very tasty home fries.Service was very good and friendly.My wife had the Seafood Crape and she loved every drop of it!!!I recommend this place for a nice romantic evening.
On the main resto strip in windsor, Wyandotte St E, this place is well known, but the cooking has too much garlic, the prices are too high, the service ok and the decor claustrophobic. $50 pp all in for lunch is a little ritzy and expectations were not met. Lobster ravioli at $25 menu price without any sign of lobster, not acceptable. veal piccata ($29) tough, too many capers, veggies was fine, mash heavily garlic'd. Go to little italy for better value. I have been to Lorelei's many times but this time was by far the best!! OUR WAITER WAS OVER THE TOP AMAZING!!!The food was also amazing as well as the drinks!! We reserved the front glassed in room and it was both private and beautiful. I would highly recommend a visit or more to Lorelei's.
Thank you to the Wonderful servers and Manager For Making this an Amazing First Date.We Had the Calimari for Our App. And I had the Tenderlion Sinatra and My Date Now Husband Had the Veal Capone I recommend this as Windsor Next Best Bistro...Love Love the Food Great Job!
Lorelei's Bistro is a great place for a good lunch or dinner. I found the service to be great and the food was delicious. The prices are in the same range as other restaurants in the city. If you have a larger party, you may want to call to make reservations. ENJOY!!
