We had planned on just winging it after an afternoon visiting wineries and having a big lunch on our second day in Spain. When we walked around the pedestrian streets of Logroño, I have to admit that we were a bit overwhelmed with all of the locals swarming the tapas bars (not having any idea of how to dine in them). So when we walked past El Comienzo, there was something that just attracted us to it. Very happy we did. The owner spoke no English but had menus in English and with my French and limited Spanish and a lot of pointing and gesturing we were able to make our recommendations and even get some recommendations from him!
