Lorenzo's Cafe & Pizzeria

We have been having take-away pizza from Lorenzos for more tan 8 years. The pizza is so good we don't bother trying pizza anywhere else. We cook pizza at home occasionally and we love that but even than we try to copy Lorenzo's pizza. Our Favourite is the Ortelano which is a gourmet pizza with roast eggplant, capsicum, artichoke, mushrooms and all the usual favourites. The sauce base is one of the secrets. I have seen one of the family cooking up a batch of sauce and I can verify lot of work and attention goes into it. The pizza base is thin and crispy as we like it. These pizzas are not volume produced cheap but worth every cent.

After so many years of excellent pizzas something seems to have changed. We have usually had the gourmet vegetable pizza and thought it was the best thing around but recently we had the same order and the pizza flavour was unrecognisable. It just tasted like tomato sauce. We tried another night but same problem. I don't know what has changed but it means we are unable to go back. Sad

Twice this week I have ordered pizza from here the first time they forgot my brothers pizza and made us pickup and pay for it. The second time the delivery man left our pizza outside our gate because he couldnt open it. ( theres a clear doorbell there). Our neighbor brought our pizza to our door. Overall really poor service.

lovely food and coffee! my dog walking group go here after we walk our dogs on the beach for some breaky. there is a secluded area out the back we can go with our pooches and its ideal. great service with a smile ????

We ordered 4 pizzas and when they finally arrived (after 1.5 hours), one of the pizzas was the wrong pizza.
