A great find, the starters of squid and the charcoal cooked prawns was only a small indicator for the amazing stake sharing platter to follow. We always enjoy our steak rare and it was the perfect way for these lovely steaks. They come with three house sauce's too, and my wife was upset that the peppercorn sauce was as good as hers as she prides herself on having a great recipe for this. We had the Malbec number 20 on the wine menu which went perfect with the steaks too.
We Visited Los Amigos in busy Edinburgh festival time,we find its very busy,at the beginning we thought space is not available but staff of management arrange a table for us and we order Empanadas de carne and Grilled King prawn as starter.After having the starter we all enjoyed best and proper Steak,it may be one of the best until I had. Moreover Staffs are working here is very efficient and polite. We will back and highly recommend.
My husband and I dined at Los Amigos in early November 2023. The food was excellent and the steaks were cooked perfectly. The restaurant is cozy and it was a wise decision to make a reservation for my birthday celebration. The service was fast, the food was served hot, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Discovered this fantastic restaurant in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh. Food was incredible. Service impeccable. You owe it to yourself to dine here before it gets truly discovered and you can’t get in. Food cooked to perfection with a welcoming atmosphere and staff. Run don’t walk… you won’t be disappointed. The food was delicious, but the steaks were quite pricey. They automatically include a 10% service charge for parties of two, which I found unnecessary. I prefer to choose how to show my gratitude and felt awkward asking them to remove it. I won't be returning after feeling like I was ripped off.
Great food, a good variety to choose from. Would recommend the steak bites for a starter which were excellent. Price was very reasonable for our meal.
