I had a craving for tacos and heard that this restaurant was the best spot in my neighborhood. Eager to try it out, my party and I walked in and seated ourselves as there was no hostess present. The waitress soon brought us complimentary chips with two different salsas, my favorite being the salsa verde for its homemade taste and acceptable kick. For my main course, I ordered the three taco combination dish with steak, al pastor, and chicken, served with rice and refried beans. I enjoyed the steak the most, finding the al pastor too salty and greasy, and the chicken a bit dry. Thankfully, I had a Jarritos to wash it down. I also learned that they have $1 tacos every Tuesday, so I have a feel...
I ordered a burrito with rice and beans, which cost me $10, and for an additional $3, I could get a small portion of rice and beans. The portions were quite small—the burrito itself was little, and the rice and beans were just a small scoop each. I found the prices to be quite high for what you get. The only standout item at this place is the green guacamole hot sauce they serve with the chips. In total, I spent $17 and left still feeling hungry.
Low-key got ripped off, outcome came out to prices that weren't on the menu, very expensive for low-quality food, the burrito is all canned beans and very salty meat, with watery odd tasting cream and wilted lettuce. I never give Mexican Restaurants outsideof Chicago a chance, it was late at night and we were starving and decided to give this place a chance, disappointed yet again.Do not get the burrito. Save your money.
The food was good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. However, the music was quite loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with my dining companions. I placed a to-go order along with my meal, but when it came time to pay, the waitress forgot about my to-go order. I decided not to wait for it, which was quite inconvenient for me.

Salty tacos. I ordered Al carbon (charcoal grilled meat) but got meat cooked on flat iron and full oil. Top it off nothing on it ... and the sizes of a toy taco for almost $4.00 NOT WORTH IT!!! Photo below for size. I wish they posted actual size before buying 3 tacos and a small soda for $16 dollars !!!!! Unbelievable especially for the size!!
I love this place!! Best green salsa I?ve ever had, their margaritas are excellent also! We?ve tried so many things on the menu and we?ve never had any complaints. One of our favorite spots for good Mexican food and drinks.
The restaurant has changed since moving to a new location several years ago. The food is still good, but it has transformed into more of a social hangout spot with a bar. I do miss the breakfast options they had before.
I'll skip the Alpastor; it’s great, but the shrimp tacos are really good too. The shrimp Diablo is excellent as well. Those are pretty much the three dishes I order every time I'm here!

I will always have a special affection for this restaurant. I've been a loyal customer since my teenage years, and the food has consistently been fantastic.
Never disappoints! Wonderful flavors and generous portions every time I've ordered. A great spot for a delicious meal. Highly recommend.
