I've visited Los Garcias a few times and felt it was time to share my experience. It has been around for decades, and it never disappoints! I love supporting these mom-and-pop shops, and on every visit, I get to experience how much love this family puts into this restaurant. I usually order my norm, which is a carne asada plate with rice and beans. The cut of meat they use is top-notch and cooked to perfection. Los Garcias is a family-owned business that has been serving great food for years. It's a local favorite. The restaurant faces Old Oakland Road. Though, the place is sorta hard to find, as it shares the same driveway/Parking lot with Alura Hotel. The inside has a bar with bar seating, in addition to inside dining. The place is small, and can accommodate groups of 6. I enjoyed my Burrito with Al Pastor. The meat was marinated well and cooked with bell peppers. They also include avocado and red and green chili sauces. Also, I had a taco with Carnitas. This was basic. I'll try another meat next time. Service was good. The cashier was sweet and friendly.
It's a typical hole in the wall kind of place with minimal parking in the back, but that's how you know the food is going to be amazing!! You get a free tray of chips and three kinds of salsa and the chips were delicious! They feel homemade since I've never had chips like that. Refills cost money. There was a variety of different options, and I decided to go with the Super Tacos. They were huge I barely finished two. They were so flavorful and a tip is using the salsa they gave for the chips on the tacos! I would definitely go again! We were around dinner time and there was a line forming so it's best to go earlier.
food was excellent, we came after long flight from Britain were in the alura inn. this restaurant is next door suitable for our needs for a quick dinner. authentic, delicious, freshly prepared Mexican foods easily affordable. service was so friendly dishes were mouthwatering explained when we were uncertain what to order (sorry uk don't compare with this excellent kitchen) wonderful family restaurant will definitely recommend again

Love this place, it was my first time being here and the Carnitas were well-made, but the lingua is so, so good!! I really like tortillas they hand make their. To be frank, next time I intend on getting just two regular tacos instead of super since I don't like beans with my tacos.

Our crunchy beef tacos rice and beans were absolutely delicious and love the colorful mural on the front of restaurant! Very authentic tasting food
