Los Molcajetes - Réservation de table

The pupusas were terrible - not properly filled and burned. They were nothing like the ones at Los Molcajetes in East L.A. Normally, the cheese around the pupusa should be slightly melted, but these were literally burned. They took a long time to prepare, with a 1 1/2 hour wait. I also ordered pastelitos with beef and another order with cheese, both of which were also burned. The beans were overcooked and not simmered properly. Overall, it was a total disappointment and I returned them when I lived nearby. The bill came out to $65. I will never return here. I grew up on authentic Salvadoran cuisine and this was a far cry from it.

This small family-owned restaurant serves delicious food. I have tried pupusas from other places, but the ones here are the best in terms of size and flavor. The staff is always polite and friendly. Recently, I ordered food for pickup and found some items missing when I got home. When I called to let them know, they acknowledged their mistake and promptly sent one of their employees to deliver the missing items to my door. This level of customer service is exceptional. I wanted to share my positive experience so other businesses can learn from this mom and pop restaurant. I highly recommend giving it a try.

The pupusas and aguas at this restaurant are amazing, but the service is incredibly poor. The staff is rude and it takes over 45 minutes to receive your order. It would be a great dining experience if it weren't for the disrespectful employees. The food is still delicious though.

I ordered pupusas for takeout and had a great experience. The staff was friendly and gave us complimentary drinks while we waited outside. The regular pupusas were huge and came with plenty of curtido. They tasted delicious and I will definitely be coming back to this place. Réservez une table maintenant

I used to love the Pupusas from this restaurant until they changed the recipes. The addition of black beans gives them a new, different flavor but I find them to be a little dry. I much prefer the old recipe with pinto beans.

They did the nicest thing ever today. Thank you very much! They noticed it was my brothers bday and they brought him out the desert empanadas with a candle. Definitely best pupusa location in this area.

The pupusas at this restaurant are really tasty and a good size. The service is friendly and very good as well. You can feed five people for less than $40. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

DELICIOUS, one of the best popusas I ever had i wished I would of taken a picture before portions are generous. We ordered Pupuposas rebueltas.. bomb! Pan con pollo...bomb! And an Horchata Réservez une table maintenant

The pupusas were the biggest and best I've had in a long time. The curtido was on point, and tasty. Pricing is very reasonable, esp for the serving size.

I had to wait over an hour for my food but they are busy for a reason. Love the pupusas.
