Dropped by this place last night after a day of shopping. It's been a few years since we visited this restaurant and thought we would give it a go. First off the restaurant looks nice and clean, very welcoming that's the good. We got seated in the bar area and it seamed as if we were forgotten. A few waitresses kept popping their head around the corner but no one approached us to ask if we needed anything or ready to order. The bar tender and waitress in that room kept all their attention on the customers sitting at the bar not the tables. Me and my husband want it to have Mexican breakfast on Sunday. We walked inside place looks visit so we tough will be good To start we order coffee which turn out to be hot water with color didn't smell or taste like coffee at all.. we told the server and she said she was going to bring another one.. well no different . My husband order chilaquiles and on their menu says spicy salsa upon request we ask for it and the server said everything was mild so why you offer it.... Food no flavor.
This is our spot to eat lunch on most Fridays after working out at Golds Gym Montclair they have a lunch special from $11.99 (mostly enchiladas and salads) $12.99 tacos plates with rice or salad and a drink and some other stuff. I always order their grilled fish tacos with salad and a stiff margarita and it never disappoints! They offer free chips and salsa and the servers are always friendly. Full bar inside~ and I believe they sell tamales during this time (winter)
Service was bad today waitress never brought my chips to me after I had purchased some guacamole to have before my dinner came never got the guacamole and chips. So unfortunately the tip I was going to give went to paying for the guacamole instead Will come again since yhe first time I came was super and food was great tasting except the guacamole.
