It was quite cold, (maybe 10 degrees C), we had to wait in line for quite a while before we finally got a table outside, then nothing happened for maybe 20-30 minutes, no bread or drinks or blanket or contact with the staff, we had to go inside to get a menu, later go inside to tell we were more than ready to order, when we finally got the food it was an OK salad, mushroom risotto and much later a mediocre grilled steak with more fat than meat. Much much later, after freezing for maybe an hour, we got the dessert (not very impressive flan but the vanilla dessert, last one on the menu, was OK) and good coffee (which ironically had «Why not now?» written in Spanish on the cup). The food was OK...
Genial como siempre!! visita obligada si vais a Alcalá del Júcar, destaca por su personal siempre tan agradables. El menú diario está muy bueno, mucha variedad y a muy buen precio. Buenos vinos, platos elaborados y la atención muy buena. Para mi es de agradecer que cuando voy con mi compañera perruna me dejan entrar si hace mal tiempo y ya con esto me tienen ganada la verdad. Es de agradecer que cada vez haya más restaurantes Petfriendly como éste y yo lo recomiendo al 100%. De todas formas tiene una terraza muy amplia que si hace buen tiempo se puede disfrutar y justo al lado disponen de parking.
We had thought about eating in the hotel but so glad we went here instead. The waitress didn’t speak much English but managed to find a friend who did and she took our order. However, she recommended the wine which was lovely but the octopus we had as a starter was amazing. The best I’ve ever had. The other courses were lovely too but the pulpo was brilliant and I would have it again. Lovely evening, nice atmosphere and attentive staff.
A very pretty spot, with water misters keeping diners cool on a hot and sunny lunchtime. They do offer a menu del dia at €17 but we decided to share the BEST patatas bravas, really tasty Queso Frito, DELICIOUS asian fried aubergine, a variety of croquetas .. but we'd skip the pretty random cesar salad (very little chicken and huge slabs of bacon! . For a family of four it was €70 including water, soft drinks and wine.
He indicado que está abierto, por que el sábado día 6 de abril comimos en este restaurante. La comida no está mal aunque las raciones pequeñas. Había mucha gente y tardaron en servirnos el pan. Pero lo peor fue ver como varias camareras criticaban a otros compañeros de trabajo y les trataban con falta de respeto
