We visited Los Tíos for lunch on Father's Day, and it was my first time there. The service was outstanding, thanks to our waitress, though I regret not remembering her name. I noticed they offer $5 margaritas all day on Mondays, which is a great deal. Despite it being 12:30 p.m., I decided to order breakfast and went for an egg and potato taco, which was both large and reasonably priced at $3.50. The kids' menu features silver dollar pancakes for just $3, and they’re quite generous in portion. My dad enjoyed his chicken dish, and my brother loved his veggie fajitas. I’ve visited this location many times and have always had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this visit was different. The golden tacos were bland and lacking flavor. I’m not sure if there was a change in the recipe, the chef, or if it was simply a bad batch. I should have sent it back. My mom brought it up to our waiter, who assured us he would inform the manager. I’m unsure if I’ll return.
I made a reservation for 20 people the night before, and we were seated in the back room. The service was outstanding! As for the food, while it isn't the best I've ever had, it's certainly among the top options for mid-range Tex-Mex dining in the area. It's definitely a local favorite!
Food was delicious, good variety to choose from and the service was quick and friendly. Margaritas were also an A+ Carmen treated us like family and helped us make some decisions.

The family crowd pours in around 6 so if you want a more subdued dinner get there earlier or later. Lots of kids and it gets loud. Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids on the weekend.
Los Tios has always been a favorite of mine and my family's. The food is excellent, the service is top-notch, and the other customers are wonderful.
Been coming into Houston for lunch or dinner at Los Tios for the past 40+ years. Can’t wait for my next visit!
