What a shame! a restaurant that could be a gold mine and has a prestigious past. Unfortunately, the current team (especially in the room) is not or more at the height. the decor remains friendly, in a beautiful Alsatian house, with a terrace in the summer, but the reception has nothing warm and for the service, it is to be wondered, if the presence of customers is truly desired! No smiles, no adventurous proposals. the kitchen saves the general opinion a little, but there again, no good surprise or special presentation of the dishes. very medium desserts, especially the chocolate of Liège (servi without hot chocolate).
I had already come about twenty years ago and I had taken the cheeks of pork robbed with beer accompanied by spätzele (a typical accompaniment of alsace.) and today, I have just returned to it to resume this same dish and frankly, I have enjoyed it. The meat was extremely tender and not badly tasted!Beautiful for gourmets to such a point that it puts the pan on the table (photo in support!) served by a charming very pleasant lady with a similar accent to the Victoriaia abril actress. Anyway, this restaurant is a good value.
I was with friends, we were eleven in total, last Thursday and we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the reception, service and succulent dishes. prices are correct. I will always recommend someone for a good winstub address a few kilometers from Strasbourg. There was professionalism on the part of the waitresses. I thanked the waitress who served us drinks at the table and the glass. Keep it that way. I've got to do it again.
traditional old house, pleasant and sunny courtyard in the evening, the menu offers many Alsatian specialties that will delight the premises as visitors. The flambées pies are successful, the wadele (jarrets) are huge and very good, and the accustoms who have been able to test the other dishes are unanimous. Quiet in a small town, very good address.
