"Had a wonderful lunch here on their terrace in this out-of-the-way spot. Lamb was excellent, as were kebobs we ordered. Their chocolate dessert with salted caramel whipped cream is to die for - I would go back just for that! Excellent service."

Don't be put off if it takes a while to find this place. It's well worth the effort but you might like to give yourself an extra few minutes to find the way as the old city of Briançon is a bit of a warren. We had a very enjoyable meal which had Nepalese influences. Everything tasted good and the service was friendly and solicitous. A slight downside was the noisy Italian bambino at the neighbouring table, who was not kept in check by his parents, but that is no fault of the restaurant itself. We will probably have a return visit to try one of their raclette meals, a specialty of the Alps.

My partner and I stumbled upon this restaurant while strolling through Briançon. The menu sounded so appetising we decided to give it a try, and we were not disappointed! We love trying new food, and we sampled the Nepalese dishes. It was full of subtle flavours, spicy but not overwhelmingly so, in a lovely atmosphere, and the service was perfect. I warmly recommand it!

All the reviews suggested a great meal, and with only a Monday night in Briancon, we were delighted to see the signs all over the place advertising that this restaurant was open 7/7. Tricky to find, but at last we found it and were GUTTED to see on the door "Ouvert à partir de Mardi midi" their loss was Le Gavroche's gain where we had a delightful meal

Found by chance wondering the old town following a sign on the wall. Off the main streets with a sunny terrace overlooking rooftops. The cuisine is innovative, tasty and well worth the 100m detour. The family is from Nepal and they specialise in food from the Himalaya.Very memorable for all the right reasons!
