The Michigan location was ridiculously busy, and they so kindly advised us to call ahead to the Gold Coast location, place an order, and by the time we walked up it would be nearly ready. Glad for this bit of advice, and while it did require walking through beautiful downtown Chicago... we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a table, and the pizza was out 15 minutes after being seated. The pizza was amazing as it has been every time in Chicago, and the espresso martinis had a good amount of booze.
I?ve been recommended Lou?s by many people so I finally decided to check it out. We ordered a large Chicago style cheese pizza and I just couldn?t believe it. The crust was hard as a rock. It was so crunchy and bland, how could this of ever come fromdough? I will have to stick to soft foods for a few days so my mouth can recover. Service was good and not too long of a wait,but i wouldn?t go back for the pizza.
Layla was very nice she let us stay there for an extended period of time due to such a great date, no additional issues. She gave me more drinks when didn’t even know I needed a refill. She gave me plenty of time to count my money and her tip. No complaints very nice atmosphere the keeps your energy up.
Stopped for lunch and had a great meal. Best deep dish I had while in Chicago. Had the lunch special and got a malnati salad. It was great! I really enjoyed going here. Food was great, service was excellent atmosphere was nice. Would definitely recommend if you're in town!

Great experience we had. It’s definitely a place you should go once because of the history it has in Chicago. Wasn’t wowed by the pizza but the service was great. Our server was attentive, and accommodating. Nice place to go with family.

Our waitress with the black curls was very nice and very attentative. The pizzas weren’t that great and they did let us know pizzas are made fresh so will take at least 30min which seems very long to me for 2 personal sized pizzas?
We stop here before we leave Chicago and this is a must stop every time. We took half-baked pies, and they are as delicious as the ones served in the restaurant.

The hype around around this place had us so excited. It was decent pizza but not near as good as other places in Chicago. It was good, but did not wow us.
