Louie's Steakhouse & Lounge

Excellent food and hard working staff. There was two staff managing the whole restaurant which allows for errors. A disappointing error was made on the steak my husband ordered, as he was very much looking forward to the 10 ounce NY and received a 5 ounce fillet. We were assured the 50% would be taken off his meal, however, ended up paying the full price at $62 for his meal alone. Not to mention our bill reaching close to reaching $200. Very disappointing. This is normally an excellent restaurant and food is delicious but they need stronger client care. We left feeling ripped off and disappointed.

I highly recommend this as one of the best foodie experiences in Nelson, BC. We were treated so well as soon as we arrived. The server answered all of our questions about the menu. We reviewed the extensive wine list and quickly found one of our favourite Malbec wines from Argentina. The Filet Steak meal and the Tagliatelle a la bolognese dish were second to none. We left feeling so satisfied and satiated. This place is an absolute must try if you want fine dining in Nelson.

I have visited Louie's Steakhouse and Lounge two times! I have chosen to eat sea food both times! At first visit I ordered Halibut which was very delicious on the second visit I ordered sea food from Arctic sea,I have no idea what fish it was but it tasted very good!The waiter recommended a local beer which I liked very much. The staff was very service minded and kind! This restaurant is a little bit expensive but it is well worth the money spent!

We sat on the patio and shared a few items. Cocktails were very good. We had a spin on a gin and tonic with cucumber, mint and ground pepper. Food was excellent as well as our waitress was friendly and provided very good service.

Wir hatten gluck mit dem Wetter und einen guten Platz auf der Terrasse bekommen. Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Beide Gerichte waren frisch zubereitet und schmeckten vorzüglich.
