I have to agree with previous reviews that the portions are AMERICAN SIZE!!! Wow. I share the Yorkshire pudding and crab cake appetizer and we were already full... Ordered buttermilk chicken and pizza margherita but we were so full we got the pizza to go. I was skeptical of eating at a hotel restaurant, but I was pleasantly surprised. Menu has gluten free options and the dishes are creative and again, HUGE. 3 chicken breasts for the chicken and waffles! Wow. Also, I don't know what the hype is about over chicken and waffles. Hidden Jem in Nelson. Looking for a nice night at a relatively fine dining spot? I had the chicken ceasar and Ribeye steak when we stopped in on a buisness trip to the area. The server, Rob, the bartender actually, was greatfor local advice on whtas goin on. The food tho was better than expected with what i thought were massive portions. The chef came out and checked our food personally and saw my garlic bread was a bit dark for his liking so he didnt charge me for the salad saying it wasnt good enough for him. Cool, was good enough for me but a free salad was a nice touch! Thanks again!
