Wow! I don't think I've ever had a better sandwich. I can't believe we hadn't discovered this place until now. We ordered the Louisiana Roast Pork and the Brisket Grilled Cheese Shop Sandwiches, along with a side of Cajun Fries and the Chopped Pork Panini. This is the kind of meal that makes you want to fast for days beforehand because it's so buttery, messy, and indulgent; every single bite is worth it. Louisiana Joe's is a diamond in the ruff. It says Deli but Joe is a chef and makes first class Cajun food, plus has a store where I buy crawfish, Cajun sausages, spices, and prepared food. I always call ahead to check the days specials because they'realways not on the menu. I was freinds with the original owner of The Bayou, who then opened, Big Daddy's, and then Yazoo City,all good but they retired and Joe is my go to place. Although I live in West Islip I go there several times a month.
The best kept secret in town. I love and hate their hours. Hate em because they close at 3 and don't open Sun Mon. Love em because it just shows you that they're not about the money. Just had an incredible bowl of chicken gumbo and great vegetarian Cobb salad here. It?s hard for me to find a place I love eating at but this is my go to for lunch around my workplace. Never a bad meal. They let me stay to eat in dining area even after their closing at 3pm. Great place!
Sandwiches are great so is the staff?.only thing that makes it only 3 stars is them charging $2 for each little tiny cup of sauce especially when your ordering multiple sandwiches?.I understand maybe for each additional cup of sauce but you should getatleast 1 sauce per sandwich
All the food here is absolutely delicious! You can really tell that the owners and cooks put a lot of passion into their work. The truffle fries are the best I’ve ever had—full of flavor! Plus, it’s very affordable and perfect for takeout. Réservez une table maintenant
