if lounge bohemia hadn't been so cold and we hadn't been forgotten about several times in the whole night, I might have given this the full five stars. not only are the drinks good (and reasonably expensive), but it would get additional points for such an individual bar. I was expecting the usual underground performance. Instead they wander into a kind retro timewarp. funky and bright and full of Ikea-like furniture and paper lamps; tables and chairs were in the main area and small inset caves along an edge. water has been provided in Kitsch-Kunststoff-Junge, which she could take camping. they play in the background light jazz to complete the “lounge” atmosphere. it made quite a...read more
what a cool place! I went to this talkeasy bar for my birthday and it was a real surprise. it is pretty well hidden next to the door to an ethnic restaurant. a small door brings them down where they find a 60s-ost European style (bohemian, as the name says) space. the menu is presented in Czech books and the cocktails are wonderfully presented by a beautiful Chinese dressed girl (yes: chinese bohemian does not seem to make really sense, but believe me it does. or at least it feels like you're in a Tarantino movie or something that goes for a molecular drink. not only they are good, but the best is how they are presented. I knew that lounge bohemia had been a good time and I knew that I would not be as impressed as I might have been, I would not have visited so many ‘speakeasy’ style bars. for that I assumed that lounge bohemia would be – it has an unnoticed entry, they must be a booking by phone etc., all very underground drink it. but I was right. under the floor it is, but not in ban style. Away from the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch, this underground bar like a 1950s Eastern speakeasy is surprisingly comfy and relaxing but the biggest surprise here is the cocktails! you're here for a once-in-a-lifetime experience sipping delicious quirky home-made cocktails! It's a unique place in the area and you have to book to get a table.
Absolutely amazing cocktailbar experience that I won’t forget! Super cool and cozy interior, the staff is so helpful and funny, and the cocktails really blew me away with innovative flavour combinations and presentations. Loved that we were served popcorn on the side. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in London!
Visited last night with 3 friends. Didn't know what to expect but the reviews are correct it is absolutely the Fat Duck of cocktails. Very quirky, special place. Excellent and friendly service. A hidden gem and I hope it stays as one!! Such a find and one off experience. Cheese and meat boards were delicious.
We had some stunning cocktails which were full of surprises. You could indicate base spirits that you don't like and the waitress was very helpful with this. It's an experience like you've never had. The cocktails are stunningly presented and taste wonderful. Réservez une table maintenant
