Searching for a dinner with 'a lot' of vegetables (almost always a problem when you have to eat out in France!), we opted for this Moroccan restaurant that i had found online. We are so glad we did! Very friendly staff and we loved the beautiful oriental decoration. Having been to Morocco (twice), i knew what to expect from the food, but for my colleague this was his first time eating Moroccan. He had the chicken-raisins-almonds tajine, and i had the vegetable tajine. The food arrived still boiling hot (as it should be, sitting inside the tajine), and everything just tasted really nice. The 'semoule parfumé' (flavoured couscous) that came with it was the nicest one i have had in a long time. It was just a shame that i was not hungry enough to try different dishes. To top the experience, the very friendly 'housecat' (at least i think she was, she seemed very at ease) came by to be petted (i realise that not everybody might appreciate this, an animal walking through a restaurant but it was a beautiful, obviously very healthy animal and i loved it!). Ourika is not the cheapest place in Suresnes, but with €20 for a vegetarian tajine and €26,50 for the chicken one, not unreasonably expensive either. My only regret is that i did not discover this place the first night i arrived! I hope to be back one day!
