Searching for a dinner with 'a lot' of vegetables (almost always a problem when you have to eat out in France!), we opted for this Moroccan restaurant that i had found online. We are so glad we did! Very friendly staff and we loved the beautiful oriental decoration. Having been to Morocco (twice), i knew what to expect from the food, but for my colleague this was his first time eating Moroccan. He had the chicken-raisins-almonds tajine, and i had the vegetable tajine. The food arrived still boiling hot (as it should be, sitting inside the tajine), and everything just tasted really nice. The 'semoule parfumé' (flavoured couscous) that came with it was the nicest one i have had in a long time. It was just a shame that i was not hungry enough to try different dishes. To top the experience, the very friendly 'housecat' (at least i think she was, she seemed very at ease) came by to be petted (i realise that not everybody might appreciate this, an animal walking through a restaurant but it was a beautiful, obviously very healthy animal and i loved it!). Ourika is not the cheapest place in Suresnes, but with €20 for a vegetarian tajine and €26,50 for the chicken one, not unreasonably expensive either. My only regret is that i did not discover this place the first night i arrived! I hope to be back one day!

I use to LOVE this restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome and the food was so good. Going back to France I made sure I leave room to visit this restaurant again. The atmosphere was just as I remembered but the food had drastically gone downhill. This time around my meal was very dry and greasy and my husband's meat tagine was very bad. Not being able to eat very good Moroccan food where we live in the States, I was so looking forward to eating here again and was sorely disappointed :( should have visited a different Moroccan restaurant to get that authentic food we were craving.

When you walk through the doors of L'Ourika you feel transported to Morocco. On the weekends, belly dancers weave around the tables, adding to that wonderful genuine atmosphere. The food is delicious, my favorite is the lamb the tangine with apricots and almonds. A great evening, with family, friends or as a couple. My family and I have been going there for years, and it never disappoints.

The restaurant is absolutely superb and the food is good, but the price list is quite high and maybe too high. Expensive is the word. Nevertheless, it is a nice destination if you have something to celebrate. Also, they are cats, and not only one. If you love these animals, you'll be more than spoiled. Unfortunately, I am allergic...
