My husband and I were lucky enough to spend our honeymoon at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and it was the best decision we’ve ever made. We’re already thinking about coming back next summer — it was truly beyond what we had imagined and more. Based on reading the reviews, a few things stood out to me: 1. Service: I have received not-so-great service at other 5-star hotels around the world as a woman of color, but not here. This amazing iconic hotel has continued to attract writers, intellectuals, artists, jet setters and illustrious people for 150 years. I was recently lucky enough to be able to stay there for a professional award and I identified with the situations of luxury, elegance, art and contemplative relaxation that Alain Delon, George Bernard Shaw, Picasso, Marlene Dietrich and the Kennedys experienced before me! Immersed in a 9-hectare park on a promontory between Nice and Cannes, three aristocratic villas, imperial suites, rock swimming pool, five tennis courts, gym, pine forests and rose gardens, terrace overlooking the Mediterranean. A dream that came true.
Cet hôtel a des codes vestimentaires complètement fous. Les hommes doivent porter des pantalons et des chaussures fermées après 17h. Cela limite l'accès aux RESTAURANTS ET AUX BARS pour tout le monde. Je paie des milliers par nuit, et je n'ai pas accès aux commodités de l'établissement. This place made my heart vibrate to an unimaginable point. From the service to the staff, absolutely everything in the Cap Eden Roc hotel takes you to a Utopia devoid of any hassle or worry, leaving room only for the happiness and joy of a life in paradise.
