I haven't been to Lou's Sub Shop in probably 40 years. Used to work at Betham Corp. down the street. Live in Texas now. But maybe not. Not sure if they were open but I was in Bound Brook working for the Post office after Hurricane Floyd in 1999. I recall talking to the owner and she was very down about another flood in BB. She didn't think that they were going to reopen. Everyone should be happy they did! The best sub shop I have ever been to hands down!
I visited this restaurant a few years ago, and I remember the food being excellent, the portions being generous, the staff being incredibly friendly, and the prices being very reasonable. It's really unfortunate to see that they seem to have closed down.
I doordash around bound brook and somerset, and I came across this deli 2 times now but from what I’ve seen and experienced the store owners are amazing, kind, and polite. It’s really nice inside. We need more people like them.
Just inhaled the 14inch cheese steak with hot peppers, real Provolone and mayo. The Hoagie roll they use is superb light with texture to it. Can't wait to go back and try something else! Réservez une table maintenant
Great little place for breakfast and lunch! I had a cheesesteak and it was a generous size with very soft bread. Prices are great and the store has a nice family atmosphere.
Have been frequenting this sub shop for over 30 years. We have never gotten anything we didn't love. Used them for local lunches and catering . Wouldn't go anywhere else
It's been a while since I was able to grab a sub that feels as soft and tastes as good as this shops subs. Made me feel nostalgic for some reason
The red vinegar had a slimy substance coming out of the bottle, and the staff member seemed to treat it as if it were completely normal. Réservez une table maintenant
Love their subs. If you want to be treated like an annoyance but eat a really good sub sandwich this is your kind of place.
