I have been a loyal customer at this restaurant for years and have always been impressed by their delicious waffles and milkshakes. However, I have to say that I have been disappointed by the small portion sizes of the cake and cheesecake slices, as well as the long wait times for delivery (often over an hour and usually late). Although I don't usually order cake or cheesecake, I decided to try the New York cheesecake today and was extremely disappointed. I purchased a milkshake for my son at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was very disappointing. While I was waiting for my order to be fulfilled, a friend of mine behind me started placing her order. Instead of attending to my order first, a man from the back room came out and proceeded to serve a customer waiting outside with a milkshake and the debit machine for payment. Even though I had already paid for my son's milkshake and was waiting, no one had started making it. When I asked the man why he skipped my order, he explained that he saw the customer outside waiting and decided to serve her first. As a local consumer of many goods in Beckenham, this is the worst portion to money good in town. £5 for a sub par cake, which is about three mouthfuls (refer to the photo). The cakes are made OFFSITE and brought in. Company should feel bad for taking taking money from people without giving an appropriate good. Go buy a cake from literally anywhere else. Cakes don’t taste fresh and the £5 price tag really kicks you in the teeth and ruins in. Not a cake for taste or class. A cake and company for mugs.
Staff were not particularly welcoming and seemed more interested in money and the price of my order. Order was made in a rush despite no one in the queue behind me. Good variety of desserts if you like cake. Portions were very small for the price i paid and customer service is poor. I would have thought that with so much competition in Beckenham High Street they would make an effort to keep a customer. They should offer half price discounts occasionally.

I ordered a milkshake from Beckenham and it was delicious! The driver accidentally spilled it, but when I informed them, they promptly offered me a replacement. They even sent me a large milkshake with cream and chocolate toppings. It's clear that they prioritize customer satisfaction and the quality of their desserts. Thank you!
Ordered on Uber eats rung up love a slice to see where my order was and after muting themselves 4 times as the clearly had no clue where it was they hung up on me as didn’t know the answer to where it was and after asking for a refund said it’s not there problem wouldn’t recommend bad customer service !
This has become a once yearly treat mainly because of the price. It is so expensive which is a real shame. I love their desserts and the delivery from this place is always on time and presented well. Their savoury food menu is very disappointing. Portions are so small and not worth the money.
Well where can I start. Staff not particularly welcoming. Staff do not know what Customer service is. Extremely overpriced. £5 for nothing special milkshake Not to mention £8 for some ice cream with some sauce. Its really not worth paying £6 for a piece of cheesecake from the cash n carry!

Tried it and enjoyed the cakes! We live locally and the shop is always packed with customers, after pandemic the doors are open and the owners wear masks so it seems all safety measures are in place.
