The food at this restaurant was incredibly tasty that we devoured the two po-boys (roast beef and oyster) without even remembering to take pictures of them. The sesame rolls were fluffy and had a nice nutty flavor, with the perfect balance of meat, sauce, and vegetables. We also tried the gumbo and crawfish etouffee, both of which were delicious. If you prefer creamier dishes, I recommend the etouffee. A few drops of Crystal hot sauce added a tangy, vinegary heat to all the dishes, enhancing the flavors. While the portions may seem small, they are packed with flavor.
The food was so delicious that we wolfed down the two po-boys (roast beef and oyster) and forgot to take their photos. The sesame rolls were soft and nutty, and there was just the right amount of meat, sauce and veggies. For other entrees we sharedthe gumbo and crawfish etouffee. If you like things a little creamier, go for the etouffee. Drops of that Crystal hot saucegives all dishes a tart, vinegary heat that complements flavors. Portions can feel on the smaller side, but they pack a flavor!
We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I had the Surf Turf Po-Boy and my partner had the Barbecue Shrimp. The server was very attentive, the food was excellent, and we even received a complimentary dessert at the end. We highly recommend this place! We were so caught up in enjoying our meal that we forgot to take a photo, so I apologize for only having a picture of the dessert.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the Crawfish Etouffee and catfish po'boy. The atmosphere was intimate and the music set a great vibe. They have the best cava, and it smells soooo good in there, you can't help but get something to eat when drinking. It is a cute but small restaurant with a NOLA based cuising, which I am a fan of! I ended up getting the gumbo and a mixed plate of fried shrimp, oyster, and catfish.
The food at this restaurant is delicious, especially the Gumbo or Etouffee paired with a half po boy for the perfect lunch. The service is top-notch and the ambiance is great, despite the small size of the restaurant. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating options.
