Nous avons visité le marché au début de nos vacances et, sur le stand, on m'a généreusement offert une huître à essayer ; J'avais demandé lesquels étaient les meilleurs et indiqué les quatre saisons (disponibles en saison juillet-août). C'était fabuleux, l'essence de la mer. Je m'en suis promis... une douzaine, alors je suis revenu tout seul (ma femme et mes jeunes enfants ont rejeté l'offre de me rejoindre pour ce délice). J'en ai bu une douzaine, avec du vin blanc. Je les ai essayés seuls, avec du citron et avec le vinaigre d'échalote. I am not a specialist for uttering, but I liked this place, although it was a bit cool, as it was a market room and we were in December. they ran out of a fish soup since we came too late, but we ordered to utter and garnel and they were good. my friend liked the oysters but not. she's not a oyster. the service was fast and friendly. I was amazed by the amount of oysters who ordered men, but then I understood why they took so many of them. it is not a good idea to have 14 oysters for lunch, it was simply not enough: next time I take a huge plate of oysters!
We knew we wanted to eat here because of the queues of people always trying to get a table. The restaurant has a real bustle about it as it is located on the indoor market. We went early (11:45) so as not to be disappointed and ordered the plateau for two. We were served with oysters, bulots, prawns, smoked salmon and pâté as well as bread and a selection of mayonnaise. The smoked salmon was the best we have ever had but the whole meal was amazingly fresh and truly delicious. An absolute must for seafood lovers in Arcachon.
Nous nous promenions dans le marché couvert et sommes tombés sur ce merveilleux petit endroit. Situé à une extrémité du marché, nous avons eu la chance de trouver une place pour nous asseoir. Nous avons mangé de merveilleuses huîtres fraîches d'Arcachon, des bulots, des langoustines aux crevettes tout en regardant la vie continuer sur le marché. Une excellente façon de passer une heure. Le tout à un prix raisonnable.

My wife and I arrived at lunchtime on a weekday expecting a great experience based on others ' reviews. We plunked down at a table and were immediately told that we couldn 't sit there because it was for 4, and we 'd need to find a place...at the long counters. These were full and noisy and although there were other couples sitting at the tables for 4 we couldn 't get a place. Their loss!
J'ai eu quelques repas fabuleux à un prix très raisonnable. Nous avons choisi le menu fixe qui s'est avéré excellent. Le service était assurément assuré par un serveur génial, Kevin, qui s'est occupé de nous à chaque fois.
Friendly service and good quality oysters. We arrived a few min before closing around lunch time and expected to be turned away but we were warmly welcomed and not rushed to leave either. Delicious seafood all round!
Perfect, fresh quality arcachon bay oyster, skilled staff and great service. You don't get it much better than this! Highly recommended!

we enjoyed our meal. crevettes were good and the fish soup too. overpriced. when in arcachon, it deserves a visit.
