Das Lu Fung gehört zu unseren Lieblingsrestaurants. Wir kommen gerne hierher. Es ist sehr groß und wir haben es noch an keinem Tag voll gesehen. Das macht es angenehmer. Dass auch viele Menschen aus dem asiatischen Raum das Restaurant aufsuchen, spricht für sich. Das Ambiente ist schön und man fühlt sich wirklich kurzzeitig in Asien. Was wirklich schade ist, ist der Service. Wir wurden beim Reinkommen nicht bemerkt und sind auch erst nach einer längeren Wartezeit überhaupt dort aufgefallen. Das Personal war teilweise am Handy. Having grown up in San Francisco and traveled extensively in China, this is as close as you'll get to Hong Kong in Germany. Hong Kong is the greatest food city in the world (bar none in my opinion, and it is just not possible to...duplicate. If you want to eat nice food, you of course don't eat buffet They serve a good variety of made-to-order Dim Sum all the time, but my personal favorite is Soy Source Chicken with some Chinese Brocolli or Boc Choy and steamed rice. Not a bad place in itself, I used to go quite regularly with business. The food tastes good and is reasonably priced. As I lived nearby I decided to occasionally drop in for a lunchtime or evening buffet. Almost always there was literally nothing left...to eat. I always arrived well within their advertised serving times but they were never keen to refill the food once eaten. I think they see this as a cheap way to bring people in but don't like to do it, so they don't do it well. This happened around five times. Bei unserer ersten Bestellung, vor ca. vier Wochen, waren Teile des Hauptgerichts kalt. Aber weil das Essen trotzdem lecker war, starteten wir einen neuen Versuch, aber das war die Krönung heute: Bestellung um 20:20, Information, es dauert 45 bis 60 Minuten. Nachfrage um 21:40 (also nach 80 Min. „Kollegin ist unterwegs, müsste jeden Moment bei Ihnen sein, wir haben heute viel zu tun“ (hätte ja auch beim ersten Anruf erwähnt werden können! This has been my second time at the Lu Fung, which seems to be the only Chinese in the area that can do good Dim Sum.They have a wide range of dishes and also buffet, though I have never tried that.Parking is no problem, and the restaurant is, as most Chinese places, quite big. But not too loud even if it is full.The staff is very friendly, if slow at times.Prices are reasonable, we paid for 3 people for a huge amount of Dim Sum and drinks 50€, which I think is perfectly fine for the quality and amount.Can only recommend to try the Dim Sum yourself!!!
Man kommt rein, denkt sich erst wow ganz cool, dann ist alles unaufgeräumt, die leben hier, als wenn sie hier wohnen. Personal war ganz nett, aber bringt nix, wenn man denkt man isst ein anderes Tier als Hühnchen oder man sie immer rufen muss. War sehr zäh… Konnte man kaum kauen. Hatte mich beschwert, aber irgendwie wollte sie mir nicht entgegenkommen…Schade. Sehr billig, was mega ist, aber das mach ich nicht nochmal. Schade eigentlich….
Ein sehr schönes gemütliches und geräumiges Restaurant. Ich habe à la carte gegessen. Das Essen ist schnell da. Die Angestellten sind alle sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen kommt auf einer Warmhalteplatte mit Teelicht. Die Portionen sind reichlich. Das Essen ist absolut lecker und von guter Qualität. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Ich kann einen Besuch sehr empfehlen.
Don't let the restaurant oily buffet and cold ambient put you off. The food from the a la carte menu are excellent. The dim sum, meat and vegetable dishes are freshly prepared, superbly flavored and not the typical greasy, MSG-heavy, gooey chinese food one normally gets in Germany. Service is a little rushed, but the food alone is worth the trip.

I came here with a family member to enjoy the dim sum selection (again). The dim sum servings remind me of tapas. I enjoyed all the portions and I recommend the spicy chilly sauce.
Super essen tolle Auswahl gerne wieder. Nettes und freundliches Team.. wir hatten einen tollen Abend.
